Just a big thank you for allowing us to stay in your Villa in Aruba.

 

We had fabulous time and were bowled over with the views and location/local beach (Arashi). We think you undersell your villa because the snorkeling off the beach in the Maritime Park in front of the villa is absolutely brilliant. I saw and touched a large turtle in 5 ft of water within five minutes of going into the sea on my first day.

 

Although we went "out of season" the weather was great. Nissia was great looking after us and doing the washing and cleaning, but kept discretely in the background so as not to disturb us unnecessarily.

 

The rooms and showers were excellent as were all the facilities in the villa and I liked the extended section on the pool that allowed me to do some serious swimming lengths.

 

We hired a car for the duration (only $417 for 13 days for a Chrysler Sebring convertible - fantastic) so we managed to see most of the island and we went to great quality restaurants every night.

 

We will definitely be back.

Hi Greg,

 

All members of my family felt that the villa and Aruba were wonderful.  There were my four children and their spouses, plus eight grandkids, one of whom is married and so her husband and their 10 mo. old daughter, Haley came, too.  Haley has been walking for more than a month, so the gate at the top of the stairs was greatly appreciated.

 

I rented two vans and two jeeps, so everyone could go off exploring the island when they wished, and in different family groups.  Half of them enjoyed jogging to the lighthouse or along the dirt road each morning.  All enjoyed snorkeling, two surfed at Dos Playas, others did wind surfing, tubing, the banana boat, parasailing, and two deep sea fishing trips resulted in two mahi mahi catches of 27 & 35 lbs. 

  

I heartily recommend the villa for family reunions.  When those in their 20s wanted to check out the night life in Oranjestad, one of us drove them there and they later returned home by taxi.  The six who had to leave after the first week regretted not being able to stay longer.
